Hey guys
I hope you are doing well ! and I hope that you are coping well with Ramadan during this quarantine; as you all know this past 04 months of 2020 were not exactly the best environment for us to thrive, but that’s okay, one should be grateful at all circumstances, you can still make list of your new year resolutions and you can still work your way to achieve that.
So today, I want to motivate you a bit to move that ass and write yourself some New Year resolutions!
First things first!
WHAT IS A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION?
A very common word that was spread this last decade and there are THOUSANDS of videos about it, people sharing what they want to achieve, but what does this word mean?
It’s a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year.
But HEY! That does not mean that it is not going to work for you if you start it after 04 months or so ha-ha.
It is like setting a bunch of SMALL yet ACHIEVABLE goals and knowing that you will be able to reach them and make them come true, during a certain period, and I am a BIG BELIEVER that EVERYONE is capable of achieving them.
So why should you set New Year resolutions?
1… it will make you reflect:
Therefore, when you sit down, put some calm music, hold that pen in your hand, write what you want to achieve by the end of the year, you will reflect, and think about where you are now, and what do you want and where do you want to be in life.
2… it will hold you accountable.
When you write your resolutions or GOALS you will find yourself motivated and accountable for your actions, especially if you set a deadline to them, which will push you to work hard.
3… it will give you purpose!
Setting 03 to 05 goals / resolutions will motivate you! It will give you the fuel you need; and make you look forward to wake up every single day to work on your dreams and goals!
It is NEVER too late to make those New Year resolutions, just make sure to choose realistic and achievable yet small ones! Like losing 05 kilos; eating more plant-based meals and working out at least ONCE a week.
Because a habit becomes a lifestyle if you continue to do it for at least a month, so you should start doing small things, working 30minute in a the firsts week ONCE; then 45min the next week, then an hour the week after, then you will find yourself working out TWICE A WEEK, because your body will adjusted to that.
Same thing goes for eating plant-based food etc. etc. . . .
Let me know in the comments bellow what you think and what your New Year resolutions are!
